Staffordshire is excellent gundog and working dog country, and we regularly welcome bitches from across the county — from Lichfield and Stafford in the south to Leek and the Staffordshire Moorlands in the north. The M6 makes the journey to Middlewich straightforward, typically 35–45 minutes depending on where in Staffordshire you're travelling from.

Staffordshire breeders value health testing and genuine working lines, and our stud dogs deliver on both counts. We hold DNA clear or carrier results for all conditions relevant to the Working Cocker: PRA, FN, AMS, DM, EIC and GSD VII. Add in KC registration, hip and elbow scoring, BVA eye certificates and DNA profiling, and you have a stud dog with the full paper trail a conscientious breeder needs.

We're happy to discuss your bitch's pedigree and health test status before confirming a booking. A Carrier-to-Carrier mating is something we'd discuss carefully and likely decline — we'd always recommend a Clear-to-Carrier or Clear-to-Clear pairing to ensure no Affected puppies are produced.
