Working Cocker Stud Dogs for Cheshire

Moorsbarrow Hall Farm is Cheshire's home for serious Working Cocker Spaniel stud services. Based at Brereton Lane, Middlewich — right in the heart of the county — we're well placed for breeders across the full Cheshire area, from Chester and Neston in the west to Macclesfield and Congleton in the east.

Our stud dogs are fully health tested: DNA clear or carrier for all relevant Working Cocker conditions including PRA, FN, AMS, DM, EIC and GSD VII. All dogs hold current BVA eye certificates, have been hip and elbow scored, and are DNA profiled and KC registered. Every result is displayed openly on our website — no need to ask twice.

Cheshire has a long and proud tradition of working spaniel breeding, and we take that seriously. Our dogs have the drive, the conformation and the temperament to complement well-chosen bitches and produce consistent, quality litters. Whether your bitch is herself working-bred or from a more companion-oriented line, we'll talk you through whether our dogs are a suitable match.

We accept bitches from across Cheshire — Warrington, Ellesmere Port, Chester, Crewe, Knutsford, Nantwich, Macclesfield, Winsford and everywhere in between. A natural mating is always preferred; please contact us early — ideally before your bitch comes into season — so we can plan ahead.

Our KC Assured Breeder status

We're a KC Assured Breeder — meaning our stud service meets the standards set by the Kennel Club for health testing, record-keeping and animal welfare. For Cheshire breeders who want their litters KC registered and pedigree-verified, our stud dogs are an excellent starting point.
